2011 Schedule of Events for Smokin' The Sound

Tuesday, May 10 & Wednesday, May 11

• Race teams arrive.

Thursday, May 12

• 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Race Village Open. (Race Boats on display)
• 7 p.m. – 9 p.m., Sponsor-VIP Race Team Party. Meet the Race Teams at Stalla inside Beau Rivage Casino & Resort.

Friday, May 13

• 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Race Village Open.
• 7 p.m. – 9 p.m., Meet the Race Teams at the Hard Rock Casino Center Bar.

Saturday, May 14 – Pro-Am & P-1 Racing and Qualifying

(Wristbands required for the following activities)
• 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Smokin' The Sound Poker Run.
• 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Race Village Open.
• 10 a.m., All premium and VIP viewing areas open.
• 10:30 a.m. – 12 noon, Qualifying Run on Official Race Course.
• 12 noon – 1:30 p.m., Pro-Am & P-1 Racing - All classes of Pro-Am and P-1.
• 1:30 p.m. – 4 p.m., Continue qualifying and testing by all OSS classes.
• Watch the race teams develop their winning strategies for Sunday's race.
• 7 p.m. – 9 p.m., Meet the Race Teams and Poker Run Party at the IP Casino.

Sunday, May 15 – Race Day

(Wristbands required for premium viewing areas)
• 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Race Village Open.
• 10 a.m., All premium and VIP viewing area gates open.
• Tune into a play-by-play account of the race on 104.9 FM, with OSS announcers.
• 12 noon – 5 p.m., Smokin' The Sound races. 10 classes of boats.
• 7 p.m., Awards ceremony at the Isle Casino including recognition of
6th Annual Randy Linebach Lighthouse Team Sportsmanship Award.

Saturday, May 21

• 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., Race Village at The Dock Open.
• 11 a.m. – 6 p.m., Smokin' The Lake races. All 7 classes of boats.
★Performance Bass & Ski - Entry-level racing for Lake Boats and Bass Boats.
★Pro Stock - Race Hulls utilizing stock production Mercury 2.5 Laser/XRI EFI 200 motors.
★Super Stock - Race Hulls utilizing carbureted motors only.
★Lake Racer - Lake Boats and Bass Boats with modified & hi-performance motors.
★1400 Modified Production - Race hulls with modified motors utilizing OEM parts.
★Pro Gas - Race hulls using modified motors with aftermarket parts.
★Outlaws - Any hull 16 foot minimum boat length. 1/8 mile course (660 feet).
• 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. Meet the Racers at The Dock Bar & Grill.

Sunday, May 22

• 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., Race Village at The Dock Open.
